Bedlinen<\/p>\n

Bedlinen is included in the price. For hygenic reasons it is not allowed to bring your own bedlinen, pillows or sleeping bags!<\/p>\n

BICYCLES<\/p>\n

I don’t have space for secure bicycle parking in my hostel, but Radspeicher around the corner offers just that: https:\/\/radspeicher.de\/parken\/<\/a><\/p>\n

It’s 0,80\u20ac for the night. They have two decks, one is locked over night, the other is accessible 24\/7. The website is not available in English, but I am sure they can answer your email or phonecall.<\/p>\n

BREAKFAST<\/p>\n

Lueneburg has so many nice little caf\u00e9s, that it is not neccessary to offer breakfast \ud83d\ude09 Please ask at reception for advice where to go. You are welcome to prepare yourself your own yummy breakfast in the kitchen. Tea and coffee are free, bread and buns can be purchased at Corners in the train station or B\u00e4ckerei Harms at Ilmenaugarten.<\/p>\n

CHECK-IN<\/p>\n

Check-in is between 4 and 6 p.m. If you arrive until 11:30 a.m. you can store your luggage here until check-in. Late check in only after previous notification.<\/p>\n

CHECK-OUT<\/p>\n

Check-out is until 11:00 a.m. at the latest. You can store your luggage during the day.<\/p>\n

CITY TAX<\/p>\n

The city of Lueneburg charges a city tax for all stays. No matter if they are private or business related. Students are not exempted anymore and have to pay city pax also.<\/p>\n

ELEVATOR<\/p>\n

Unfortunately I don’t have an elevator. The facilities are on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the building and can only be reached via stairs.<\/p>\n

HAIR DRYER<\/p>\n

There is one hair dryer in every ladies bathroom. Gents, please ask at reception.<\/p>\n

LOCATION\/TRAFFIC NOISE<\/p>\n

The guesthouse is located next to the train station \/ central bus station and in walking distance to the city center. You can reach Salzquartier easily by bus, train, taxi and bicycle. Bus stops and parking garages are around the corner. Of course you can hear trains and buses, but all rooms are equipped with soundproof windows and ventilation. I would not sleep with open windows. As a precaution I recommend you bring earplugs, a good idea for those of you that sleep in a dorm anyways \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

LUGGAGE<\/p>\n

You can store your kuggage before or after check-in during the day. On sundays I am only here til noon.<\/p>\n

PAYMENT<\/p>\n

Please pay cash or with girocard from 50\u20ac upwards on arrival. You can also transfer the money a few days prior to your arrival. Credit card payment for foreign travellers only and with a surcharge of 2,5%.<\/p>\n

PARKING<\/p>\n

There is no parking at Salzquartier, but two spaces for loading\/unloading in front of the house. You can park your car in the parking garage close to the station: https:\/\/lueneparken.de\/parkhaeuser\/am-bahnhof\/<\/a><\/p>\n

There is free parking at Suelzwiesen, approx. 20 minutes by foot.<\/p>\n

PETS<\/p>\n

Pets are not allowed in my guesthouse due to hygienic reasons. Sorry..<\/p>\n

SMOKING<\/p>\n

Smoking is not allowed in the entire house, especially not in the rooms. All the rooms are equipped with smoke detectors that make a mean noise! Who smokes inside the guesthouse nevertheless has to pay for the extra cleaning work and the occuring vacancy of the room.<\/p>\n

TOWELS<\/p>\n

Towels are not included in the price. You can rent them for a small surcharge (1\u20ac for a regular towel\/2\u20ac for a bath towel) or bring your own.<\/p>\n

TV<\/p>\n

The guesthouse doesn’t have a TV. Neither in the rooms nor in the living room. There are books and board games though.<\/p>\n

WIFI<\/p>\n

Free. You get vouchers at the reception. At some rooms the internet connection might be disturbed by radio waves caused through proximity to the railway. In any case it should work better in the kitchen\/lounge area. If you need a good wifi connection for work it might be better to find a workspace or caf\u00e9 that offers fast internet<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
